spirituality
(SPIR-ih-choo-A-lih-tee)
Having to do with deep, often religious, feelings and beliefs, including a person's sense of peace, purpose, connection to others, and beliefs about the meaning of life.

Many cancer patients rely on spiritual and/or religious beliefs and practices to help them cope with their disease. At the Community Cancer Center, our chaplain is available to provide spiritual care and counseling for patients and their loved ones. The chaplain can offer support, prayer and access to local religious groups and sacraments. For more information or to request a visit with our chaplain, call (309) 451-8500.
